About Lisa

Lisa Truong Kracher is a dynamic leader with over 25 years of experience in human resources and staffing, business development, customer service, and sales. As Vice President of Array Corporation, Lisa oversees strategic workforce development initiatives following the acquisition of her two companies, Staffing Solutions of Hawaii (SSOH) and Na Kahu Malama Nurses (NKMN). Her expertise in both commercial and healthcare staffing has allowed her to drive the growth of these organizations, integrating advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Lisa’s career began with a solid foundation in the healthcare sector as a Senior Consultant in Process Improvement / Lean Six Sigma at Kaiser Permanente in California. In 2009, she acquired SSOH and relocated to Hawaii, where she encountered new challenges in adapting to the local business environment. Her dedication to understanding Hawaii’s unique culture, combined with a commitment to client-focused service, helped her transform SSOH into one of Hawaii’s leading staffing firms. In 2019, she expanded her reach further by acquiring NKMN, a Joint Commission-certified leader in healthcare staffing and travel nursing, thereby diversifying her portfolio and extending services to commercial, state, and federal clients across Hawaii and the mainland.

After the acquisition by Array Corporation in 2021, Lisa transitioned to the role of Vice President and National Workforce Development Director. In this capacity, she is instrumental in leveraging cutting-edge, Silicon Valley-developed software and technology to streamline staffing processes and create innovative solutions for workforce challenges. Her goal is to provide alternative career pathways for Hawaii’s local workforce, helping them transition from jobs into fulfilling career tracks. Lisa believes in the power of technology to revolutionize labor solutions and is dedicated to building a sustainable labor supply that meets the evolving needs of industries.

Lisa’s leadership style is defined by a servant-leader mindset, prioritizing the growth and well-being of her team and community. She has been recognized for her contributions with numerous awards, including being named to Pacific Business News’ Forty Under 40 (2012) and receiving the Small Business Association’s Women in Business Champion of the Year (2014). Her firms have been consistently featured among Pacific Business News’ Top 25 Women-Owned Businesses from 2012 to 2014, and she was honored as a finalist for Pacific Edge Magazine’s Businesswoman of the Year in 2019.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Lisa is an active participant in various community and professional organizations. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Hawaii, where she led the Executive Professionals Committee. Her commitment to workforce development extends to her role as Chair of the Sector Strategies and Career Pathways Committee on the Oahu Workforce Development Board, where she helps shape policies and educational programs to improve the region’s labor market. She is also involved with the Workforce Council for the Hawaii Job Corps Center, demonstrating her dedication to building a robust and sustainable workforce for the state.

Lisa’s community involvement includes a passion for preserving Vietnamese heritage and culture. As the first-born Vietnamese American in a family of five sisters, she ensures that cultural traditions are passed down to her children. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Vietnamese Language School of Hawaii and has volunteered in mentorship programs for over a decade, providing guidance to the next generation of leaders.
Academically, Lisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and an MBA with an emphasis in Health Care Management. She has applied her academic training to lead her organizations through complex challenges, blending strategic vision with operational acumen.
